The transfers took place. I stayed and
my new companion elder Guerra came. He`s from Santiago Chile and is super
chill. Lots of his family lives in the US and so he visits a lot and has pretty
good English which is a change some times. We’re pretty similar people too
which makes it a lot easier to work.
This week we`ve been doing a lot of
searching for some old investigators and doing a lot of contacting but since a
lot of schools are starting up almost nobody was home. We did a lot of
organizing though...our room is like a time capsule of missionaries from years
ago and we kind of just did like a spring cleaning type thing.
Monday I got pretty sick, I’m not sure
why but we had to keep moving because we had a lot to do for the transfers
coming. We were in a trio in the night and we went to the bishop’s house and I
threw up everything. Then right after we had an FHE with a crazy family and I
don`t really remember too much. The next day I felt normal though.
We had a small baptism Saturday in a
family we`ve been visiting a bit. His name is Carlitos and we were going to
have his brother baptize him and we postponed it 3 weeks so he could, but when
it came the day his brother didn`t want to do it, which was a bummer.
That`s pretty much it....the rain
stopped so it`s just hot again....thanks to everyone who looked up information
on the floods....I’m glad it wasn`t as bad as that.
