Things are busy now, but I’m learning
way more and faster than I have
in my entire life. My companion and
district are getting along really
well and it´s been great so far getting
to know them. My companion
right now is Elder Harris and he’s from Salt
lake, of course. We´ve been
doing a lot of Spanish so we´ve been
saying all we can in Spanish like
prayers and when we talk. They also have
these mini houses used for
investigator role play which are pretty
cool and we started teaching
our investigator on Friday and that was
kind of scary at first because
we had to do it completely in Spanish
but its not that bad. The food
is great... my favorite food I had so
far was this pretzel donut covered
in cinnamon sugar and with caramel cream
stuff in the middle. Sundays
are good too, we are to prepare a talk
in Spanish every week and on
Sundays they randomly pick 4
missionaries from our branch to speak. I
was speaking with one of my branch
presidents and they said that they
had a couple violins here that I could
play so I’ll see if I can get
a hold of one today. One thing I’ve
really enjoyed though is getting to
communicate with the Latinos because
everyone´s so nice and the Latinos are always helpful and patient when you try
to practice with them. I haven’t had trouble with anything yet. The food is
great, people are
nice, the ccm is beautiful and so are
all the mountains surrounding
us, but you can only see them on a clear day. Also
this week we do
this church language software which is a
really convenient way to learn
new phrases and words, a lot faster than
a dictionary. But anyways
these elders spent a good 25 minutes
finding this default video on
their computers and putting them on
replay and syncing all of their
computers so they play the same. So I’ll
try to attach a video of
these elders wasting their time as well
as a few other pictures I took this morning.
