This week we organized our area folder a
bit and decided to contact some old investigators. We found one family that
lives together in this lumber business and they let us in and they all stopped
what they were doing and all sat down with us, which is kind of rare and they actually
participated.
We´ve been getting this youth to go out
with us named Hugo and he´s pretty cool and probably teaches me more Spanish
everyday than my companion does.
And also all this week I’ve had a lot of
people come up to me and tell me that I have a new president and every time I’m
kind of unsure how to respond.
We had a cool ward activity where the
members got up and sang and we got that super cool lumber family to come.
Had a zone conference and got some
permethrin to put on our clothes that is supposed to kill bugs that touch it.
Today Hugo accompanied us to the plaza
de almas de Trujillo and that was pretty cool and afterwards found a McDonalds
and got myself a burger and it was probably the most expensive food I’ve paid
for. The rest of the center is mostly shops and markets kind of like pike place
except huge and super crowded.
