Elder Thompson is safe!

With all the flooding going on around Nathan's area, he was allowed to call home and let us know that he is safe.  He said that the streets are like rivers everywhere, however his apartment and the street just up to his apartment are not flooded.    It was great to hear his voice  even though the phone connection was barely audible and at first I thought it was a wrong number! He called a second time a while later and reported that the missionaries are very busy helping where they can and there has been an increase in investigators and baptisms. Next week, hopefully the internet will be reconnected and he can email home.
